It is a two part resin, related to polyurethane but tougher and much faster. Mixed on site, it goes off in a couple of hours rather than overnight.
It is clear, so it takes on whatever is underneath it. Over a flake broadcast it locks the chips in and gives the floor its wear layer. Over a solid colour it deepens the colour and adds gloss.
It is also more flexible than epoxy once cured, which helps on a slab that moves a little with the seasons.
Epoxy is the better base coat. It wets out concrete, bonds hard and builds thickness at a lower cost. Polyaspartic earns its money on top.

It means a garage floor can be done in February instead of waiting for June. Bring us in during the shoulder season if you can, but winter work is real work here, not a compromise.
A single day polyaspartic install can take foot traffic that evening and a vehicle the next day. That is the whole reason commercial clients ask for it.
